This is a pictorial 'how-to' on using and combining the various methods of speed weaving european 4 to 1 chainmaille. Most of these techniques I learned from The How To section of DeCordene Wireworks. Those instructions are what this pictorial are based on. Just follow the pages below to finish with a tapered piece of E4-1 maille.

Table Skeleton Tutorial

To redesign my web site, I made this tool called Table Skeleton. I am teaching a friend how to make his own web site, so I turned it into a Tutorial.

I use it to first build a rough skeleton or outline, and get my Navigation Controls working between the pages. Then I add content, and last of all I style the pages. If you look at the source code of these pages, you'll see where I have used this to to build this version of my site.

Building and using this tool has made it a lot easier to deal with the output of various Gallery makers, Image slicers and mappers. They don't ever quite do what I want, but now I can change them once they're done.

I changed the background colors of the original using Cascading Style Sheets to match the rest of this site, though I used a lighter grey for clarity. I might make a tutorial on that subject too.
