What is the BIC?

The North Dakota Business Information Center (BIC) is a joint venture between the U.S. Small Business Administration, Bank of North Dakota, Dakota Certified Development Corporation, United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development and ND Department of Economic Development and Finance. Other participants include the Small Business Development Center and the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). They provide high-tech hardware, software and telecommunications to help start up and expanding business. BICs also offer a wide array of counseling services and training opportunities.

What can BICs do for you?

Whether you are considering starting a new business or need assistance in expanding or improving an existing business. BICs can help. BICs provide the tools and advice necessary to evaluate and improve your marketing and sales techniques, price your products or investigate the possibilities of exporting. The research tools and invaluable advice can help your new business get off the ground or help your existing business grow.

What resources are offered?

BICs combine personal computer workstations, CD-ROM technology, videos, and printed resources with on-site counseling and helpful training courses. All resources and services are provided to the public on a free and nondiscriminatory basis.

Hours of service are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
